| High Priestess Piercing, (HPP) is a full range, professional body piercing studio. We are self owned and operated. Our main Eugene shop has been open since April 1st, 1996,our Corvallis location since September of 2001, and a studio near the U of O campus in October of 2004. Combined we have over forty years of body piercing experience! HPP consists of two of the four shops within Oregon recognized and licensed by The Association of Professional Piercers (APP). |
We currently have eight state and APP licensed piercers at our facilities. All of our employees are trained and certified in First Aid, CPR, and Blood borne pathogens by the American Red Cross. High Priestess Piercing feels that our role in the community is very important. We are constantly striving to use all the newest and safest techniques. All our clients are educated in proper aftercare methods and appropriate body jewelry materials. We attend... events and outreach programs to further educate the public. |
Every year employees attend the APP conference to gain knowledge from the global piercing scene. Those of us within the HPP family consider body modifications to not only represent a mind state or way of life, but a legitimate art form as well. It is perhaps humankind’s oldest form of self expressionism. It has been a right of passage for countless cultures and indigenous tribes as long as time can tell. We are a dedicated tribe of modern day primitives here to bring this ancient art form into our present world. | ||
