About:
Opened on April Fools Day of 1996 this was the very first High Priestess location. Amazingly enough the shop has been closed less than thirty days since that opening! Through the years the shop has seen its fair share of advances including actual walls (no more curtains), permanent flooring, (no mismatched tiles and carpet) and a whole bunch of paint jobs (some good, some not so much). The bamboo entrance took over three years to create!

The building for the High Priestess downtown location is actually considered a historical landmark. When Honky Dory’s occupied the top floor there was a huge mural on the whole side of the building. The mural could be found on a large number of local memorabilia and postcards. These days the mural is gone and the building has new tenants, but it still has the same Eugene charm. We’re always improving and building onto this studio so make sure to stop in and see what we’ve come up with this time.
